Congratulations to all of this year’s award winners at #mudcreekrotary 2022 Charter Night. In particular our 3 Paul Harris Awards. #paulharrisawards recognize community members who have given of their time and resources to make their communities better. Judith Tod has worked tirelessly over many years to support multiple waves of refugees settle in Canada and Wolfville. Joe Rafih is a fixture in our Town as a business owner and engaged community member, also significantly involved in refugee resettlement particularly among the growing Muslim community but also when he just learns of a person in our region. Carl Oldham Jr, another fixture in our Town who was not only one of our essential workers during the pandemic and owner of one of the most essential businesses in Town but also a regular contributor to many many community events. Without these amazing volunteers we would be a poorer community and both as a Member of Mud Creek Rotary and the Town’s Mayor my most sincere gratitude for your amazing efforts.
